The Annual Meeting of the Canadian Applied and Industrial Mathematics Society (CAIMS) will take place on the University of Regina Campus in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada from June 15-19 2026.

Minisymposia proposal and abstract submission

Minisymposia will consist of 100 minute blocks containing four (4) talks per block. Each talk will be 20 minutes plus 5 minutes for questions and transition. Themed Minisymposium proposals should names of 3 to 12 speakers and encourage in-person attendance when possible. Proposals for minisymposia can either fit within one of the conference themes or can be “open”. Open minisymposium proposals will either have 3 speakers listed (for a 4-talk MS) or 7 speakers (for an 8-talk MS). Minisymposium organizers will be contacted to add contributed talks fitting the theme of their proposal.

Review of proposals for mini-symposiums will begin February 1st 2026. To ensure your proposal is considered, we advise submitting as soon as possible.

Abstracts for posters, contributed talks, and talks in accepted minisymposia can be submitted soon using this form.
